This year’s Signal Festival, with the theme Ecosystems: Exploration, will set out to lighten up Karl\u00edn and, along with the detour to Hole\u0161ovice, it will be an unforgettable journey. Don’t miss it and explore the entire route including unique locations with Signal Plus<\/strong><\/span> and Signal VIP<\/strong><\/span> tickets.<\/p>\n TIP: Don’t miss the opening of Signal Festival 12.10 from 7 pm at Karl\u00ednsk\u00e9 Square<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n The Museum of the Capital City of Prague will exceptionally open the doors of its main building in Florenc to visitors for a multimedia and multi-genre theatre project Emotional Memory<\/em> by Laterna magika<\/strong><\/span><\/a>. The company will celebrate its 65th anniversary.<\/p>\n Kate\u0159ina \u0160ed\u00e1<\/strong><\/span> will then create a brand new route for the festival on Ly\u010dkovo Square, which you will be able to follow next year, but what awaits you this year? Follow pacificpraguetrail.cz<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Thermal Drift<\/em>, a work by Mexican-Canadian artist Rafael Lozano-Hemmer<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, will allow you to watch real time images created by your body temperature, captured by a system of thermal cameras. Don’t miss it on Ly\u010dkovo Square.<\/p>\n In the FLUX 2023<\/em> installation, Polish studio Ksawery Komputery<\/strong><\/span><\/a> is looking for the limits and boundaries of digital interaction and how to push them. Thanks to the generous dimension of programmable LEDs and immersive music, you are in for a truly unique experience.<\/p>\n The open call Signal Calling, co-organised with PrusaLab, Josef Prusa\u2019s prototype workshop<\/a><\/strong><\/span>, was won this year by Nexus, an installation algorithmically growing in time and space. The authors of the project, which won the Signal Calling open call, are Luk\u00e1\u0161 D\u0159evjan\u00fd and Lubo\u0161 Zbranek; the original concept was also co-created by Michal Mitro and David Mina\u0159\u00edk<\/strong><\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n The winner of this year’s Neon Prize<\/strong><\/span><\/a> is Karim Tarakji<\/strong><\/span><\/a>. His work Red Shift<\/em> uses nanomaterials to highlight the necessity of play and fun in work, research, creation and everyday life. The patron of the competition is Pra\u017esk\u00e1 plyn\u00e1rensk\u00e1<\/strong><\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n The biggest work of this year’s edition found its place on the other side of the river, in the Hole\u0161ovice Market Hall<\/strong><\/span><\/a>. Just cross the newly opened \u0160tvanick\u00e1 footbridge and you will see the imaginary Horizon<\/em> line by Spanish creators Playmodes<\/strong><\/span><\/a> flooding Hala 13.<\/p>\n The monumental light outline of the glo\u2122 Circle<\/strong><\/span><\/a> invites visitors to stop, enjoy the vibrant colours and music created by producer Radimo. This installation was created in collaboration with partner glo\u2122<\/strong> <\/span><\/a>and is not part of the festival’s curated content.<\/p>\n Enjoy a projection by Entangled Others<\/strong><\/span><\/a> called Sediment Nodes<\/em>, which explores the life of sediment full of colour and form, right at the Kooperativa’s headquarters<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, which is also a patron of the work created using artificial intelligence.<\/p>\n The Church of Sts Cyril and Methodius will be stirred by Echo<\/em>, a video mapping by Japanese studio Flightgraf<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, revealing the connection between man and nature and natural processes invisible to the eye. You can shorten the wait between video mappings with an interactive game by Mercedes-Benz<\/strong><\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\nMultimedia programme in a unique atmosphere<\/h3>\n
