As part of the twelfth edition of the\u00a0Signal Festival<\/strong>, you can look forward to video mappings that will illuminate two buildings in the centre of historic Prague.\u00a0The Archbishop’s Palace<\/strong>\u00a0on Hrad\u010dansk\u00e9 n\u00e1m\u011bst\u00ed will be transformed by the artistic projection\u00a0Eternal Recurrence<\/strong>\u00a0by digital artist\u00a0Filip Hodas<\/strong><\/a>. This Czech, but internationally renowned artist, whose works are going viral, masterfully plays with the boundary between fiction and reality. Music and sound design of the videomapping was created by Pavel Rido\u0161ko alias Rido.<\/p>\n The facade of the\u00a0Municipal Library of Prague<\/strong>\u00a0on Mari\u00e1nsk\u00e9 n\u00e1m\u011bst\u00ed inspired a videomapping show by the Spanish-Danish visual group\u00a0Desilence<\/strong><\/a>. Their projection\u00a0The Rhythm of the Ocean<\/strong>\u00a0will transport you to the depths of a powerful element with a musical accompaniment by five Grammy Award nominee\u00a0Suzanne Ciani<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The projections will also include specially created short video mapping spots by the festival partners ZDR Investments<\/strong> and Pra\u017esk\u00e1 plyn\u00e1rensk\u00e1<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Videomapping\u00a0Eternal Recurrence<\/strong>\u00a0will add new dimensions and stories to the history of the\u00a0Archbishop’s Palace<\/strong>, which has stood at Hrad\u010dany since the\u00a016th century<\/strong>. This layered videomapping will highlight the various architectural elements of the magnificent mansion. The late Baroque palace with its rococo facade will be used by the projectionist\u00a0Filip Hodas<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0to tell a digital saga about the origin and evolution of life forms.<\/p>\n The Czech artist with more than half a million followers on Instagram has won fans around the world. His most popular series, 2018’s\u00a0Pop Culture Dystopia<\/strong>, has gone viral.<\/p>\n A well-known and frequently visited point of the Signal Festival is the\u00a0Mari\u00e1nsk\u00e9 n\u00e1m\u011bst\u00ed<\/strong>\u00a0and with it the building of the\u00a0Municipal Library of Prague<\/strong>. This year, the spacious facade will serve as a modern large screen for the video mapping project called\u00a0The Rhythm of the Ocean<\/strong>.
