We live at a turning point. Yesterday\u2019s information is today\u2019s archaeology. Everything is constantly changing. We had a Plan B. We wanted to open a discussion about the state of our planet through art. We asked questions how to help the environment, how to be better. However, the festival proposes, God disposes. The pandemic of the insidious disease Covid-19 hit the whole world. We had to respond to it and seek new solutions, think outside the box and try new approaches. We\u2019ve learned a lot on the way and we\u2019ve reminded ourselves of the basic and immutable values. In order to be resilient, we need to take care of ourselves, our friendships, our families, society, culture and landscape. Healthier environment and mental wellbeing will help our physical health.<\/p>\n
We all look forward to things getting back to normal. What\u2019s normal, though? To behave as before? As if nothing happened? That\u2019s impossible. Uncertainty is a new creative principle. We listen to science; we learn new technologies. We develop constantly. We look for a way to safely present art to the general public in these complicated times. We\u2019re trying the possibilities of augmented reality, and we present an art programme during the whole year. We don\u2019t want to share only a heady visual experience, but also common values which are immensely important to us.<\/p>\n
We need a new plan. Considerate, gentle, sustainable for our planet, society and the environment. A plan which will enable us to negotiate the turns of adverse conditions and adapt to them. The festival presents Plan C. It will focus on environmental topics as well as artistic responses to the pandemic.
