Festivals of light and audiovisual arts are on course not only in our country but all over the world. We are delighted to support one of them — the Intvervals festival in Nizhny Novgorod.
Our Director Martin Pošta will introduce the topic “Urban media art in public space” as part of the festival’s educational section on April 13th. He will focus on artistic engagement in an urban environment combining architecture, urbanism, design and technology. He will develop the idea of specifics of setting up and running urban media art festival in a post-communist country in order to create a viable space in which artists make, utilize and critically explore innovations in software and technology to create artworks, installations and situations in response to the urban discourses and urgencies of our time.
