About project

The luminous epicenter of the installation by Signal Festival’s partner GLO is a ten-meter-high hexagon. It is made up of LED panels with a total area of 180m², complemented by lights. When you stand near the installation, its infrared cameras capture your movement and project it onto the panels. As an individual, you become part of the whole, influencing and shaping it with your mere presence or message. The installation transforms over time, culminating in an evening audiovisual show created by Jan Hladil and Jakub Strach (NobodyListen).

Artist

Jakub Strach, known by his artistic pseudonym NobodyListen, is a music producer and DJ. His unique musical style connects hip-hop, electronic music, and experimental sounds. Strach quickly gained attention and a prominent position on the Czech music scene thanks to his innovative approach and his rave festivals. His influence, however, extends beyond the borders of the Czech Republic.

During his studies in graphic design and supermedia at the Academy of Arts, Architecture, and Design in Prague (VŠUP), Jan Hladil worked intensively on mastering the entire process of video creation in all its forms. He currently works as a VJ (visual/video jockey) and creates content for the audiovisual label Lunchmeat. In addition to that, he has presented his free work at venues such as the National Gallery, the DOX Center for Contemporary Art, and the Gallery of the Capital City of Prague.
