Nohlab (TR) → Space & Possibilities

  • Videomapping

About project

Please note that on Sunday, videomapping at the Church of St. Cyril and Methodius begins at 20:15 due to worship service.

Each space has its own identity. Its historical significance and genius loci, which literally radiates from it. However, this may change. Light and sound can wholly metamorphose the space as we know it. The movements of light and shadow create a choreography that leads to a paradox in perception. The boundaries between space and the outside world are becoming obscure. Everything is blurred. This creates space in the space and maybe a space behind the space. Time becomes action and reaction. The visible surface is metamorphosing. We can begin to perceive the inner world, to look beyond the barrier of physical space. We penetrate deeper layers. The space spills out into a steadily less distinct up to formless and a kind of timeless, futuristic, liquid identity which has no solid contours, edges, beginning or end. The time is changing into a never-ending timelessness and the space into shoreless and unlimited possibilities. It is only up to us and our consciousness how far we can see.
