About project

Water is a fundamental element of life’s existence, sustainability, purification and growth. The interactive installation As Water Falls is a virtual cascade that responds to mobile phone flashlights with various visual and audio responses that are never the same. This generates an infinitely changing digital waterfall flow. A vibrating water surface is added for an even more immersive experience.

The Canadian digital art studio Iregular thus draws attention to the energy and immense power of this perfect natural phenomenon. The title As Water Falls suggests from the very beginning the dynamics and movement on which the installation is based. The artwork encourages participants to play with the symbolic references of water all while simply enjoying the fascinating wonders of mother nature.
