Would you like to find out more about the festival itself and its history or future plans? Then join our three curators on three commented walks through the different routes of the festival, where you will get to learn more about the visited installations and about the festival. All walks will be conducted in Czech only.
Walk #1

Matěj Vlašánek, head of Signal Festival’s program department, will guide you through seven installations of the Malá Strana route. Matěj is the main curator of the festival, previously he created the program and artistic concept for the popular Prague cultural centers Containall and Stalin or co-created cultural projects reviving the abandoned and forgotten Prague areas.

One of the founders and long-time curator of the Signal Festival Jan K. Rolník will guide you through the Old Town route. Jan co-founded, produced, directed or participated as a curator on various projects such as the Czech Pavilion at EXPO 2015 in Milan, Prague Quadrennial 2007 and 2019, the Institute of Light Design, Theater Architecture in Central Europe.

The artist, curator and program coordinator of the Signal Festival Marek Šilpoch will introduce visitors to the Karlín route. Marek is a recent graduate of a master’s degree study in the Glass Studio at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, and in his artistic expression he is also involved in creating audiovisual projects based on the synthesis of sound and light. You could get acquainted with his work during last year’s Signal Festival on Jiřího z Poděbrad Square, where he created together with the XYZ collective a stunning immersive installation absorbing the whole square.
Reservation is required, capacity of the walks is very limited. Tickets are only available online. Participation is possible only in combination with Signal Pass or Gallery Zone wristband .
