3dsense (CZ) → Faces

About project

The interactive project FACES is created by the visitors themselves using the Intel RealSense camera, which can capture a 3D model of the human head. The three-dimensional faces of the visitors are projected directly onto the Šítkovská Tower, where they can be played with or used to create illusions depicting the demolition of the tower or laying bare its inner pathways. It’s therefore up to the visitors as to what marvels they will create for themselves and others.

3dsense is a creative studio combining art and modern technology. Its work includes light installations, large-scale projections, video mapping, museum exhibitions, scenography and VR&AR applications. The studio collaborates with international entities and cities (e.g. Hasley, People of Lancaster and Grona Lund Stockholm projects) and regularly participates in international festivals (e.g. Lux Helsinki or White Night Melbourne). In the Czech Republic, it has recently completed an interactive exhibition for the Institute of Memory of the Nation Brno. Among its well-known projects are an interactive video mapping for the reopening of the State Opera House and a light installation for the 30th anniversary of the Velvet Revolution.
