Filip Hodas
Filip Hodas is a 3D artist based in Prague, Czech Republic. In 2015, Filip started a daily render project that lasted for almost 400 days and helped him gain initial traction online. Since then, he has grown to one of the most-followed 3D artists in the world, which opened the door to collaborations with many international brands such as Adidas, Coca-Cola, Samsung, and music artists like Jean-Michel Jarre. In his work, Filip balances the edge between reality and fiction with elaborate, detailed renderings, often referencing pop culture. In 2020 Filip started offering some of his work as NFTs on platforms like Nifty Gateway and SuperRare.
Michal Kučerák
He is a curator and lecturer collaborating with the DOX Center and TBA21–Academy, where he is in charge of the Ocean-Archive.org project. He is currently a PhD student at the Faculty of Fine Arts BUT in Brno. He is also the author of the #DATAMAZE project (DOX, Prague, 2018 – 2022) – the concept of an extended exhibition focused on strengthening digital and data literacy through contemporary art and design projects in a gallery environment. Michal Kučerák is part of the team that realizes the festival focused on socially engaged design and art UROBOROS. In his practice he focuses on digital projects, art mediation and critical art and design practice as a medium for educational projects.
Tomáš Hříbek
Tomáš Hříbek is a Czech philosopher. After his studies in Prague, Canada and the United States, he worked at the Philosophical Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, where he originally focused on the philosophy of mind and consciousness as well as selected topics from bioethics and philosophy of art. In recent years, he began to deal with questions of the ethics of so-called new technologies. In that context he was one of the founders of the interdisciplinary Karel Čapek Center for the Study of Values in Science and Technology. Most recently, he became the head of the newly founded Department of Applied Philosophy and Ethics at the Institute of Philosophy of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. In addition to his research work, he teaches aesthetics and art theory at the Academy of Fine Arts and the Anglo-American University in Prague.
Jan Netušil
Jan Netušil graduated at UMPRUM (Film and television graphics studio). After his studies, he combined the acquired experience with animation and graphics in the field of motion design. Shortly after that, he joined the Oficina studio where he works as a motion designer and art/technical director. He mainly specializes in interactive multimedia projects and animated graphics. He is the co-founder of the Mouvo platform and co-organizer of the international conference of the same name, which presents the intersection of graphic design, film, animation and technology in the form of lectures by world-renowned creators. From 2021, together with Jiří Hölzel, he leads the Design and Digital Technologies studio at UMPRUM in Prague.
