Boris Petrovsky (DE)

Boris Petrovsky studied art and product design at the University of Hamburg. His work focuses on the importance of communication in a world where our senses are constantly stimulated. In 2012, he presented his computer-controlled installation of 520 maneki-neko-waving cats in Karlsruhe called The Global Pursuit of Happiness or The Army of Luck. In 2014 he received the Prix Ars Electronica in Linz and was nominated for the International Light Art Award. Petrovsky lives and works in Konstanz.
