About project

Today’s technologies are pushing the boundaries of how people can communicate with each other. Meeting friends through webcams feels almost like sitting in the same room. The signal that brings us to this virtual table and the immense amount of data transmitted through space are almost imperceptible. The FLUX installation makes the most of digital interaction technology. Ksawery Komputery have built their own software and hardware system for it. It can thus exploit the highest potential of programmable LEDs on a generous scale. The entire program is code-driven and synchronized with surround sound. The vertical cylindrical shape of the object, four high-speed cameras and an eight-channel sound system produce a powerful immersive experience that reveals the hidden algorithms that shape our online encounters at the speed of light.

As described by ChatGPT

FLUX 2023 is a triumph of artistry and technology—a testament to our capacity to merge the physical and the digital, transcend boundaries, and illuminate the world in ways previously unimagined. It’s a reminder that, in a world moving at the speed of light, the power of human creativity remains limitless.
